Fresh off a new album and a Grammy nomination, British rock band Bring Me The Horizon brought their electric Second Base Tour to The Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee last week. Fronted by lead singer Oli Sykes the band showed that even though they have evolved in their sound, they still know how to rock. Over the past few years, the band has transitioned from their previous metalcore sound with albums such as Suicide Season and Sempiternal to a more electronic pop rock sound with That's The Spirit and their newest album, Amo, that came out in January 2019. Their Second Base tour showcased just how well they bring the mix of their old and new sound with new hits such as "Mantra", "Medicine" and "Mother Tongue" as well as old favorites such as "Diamonds Aren't Forever", "House of Wolves" and "Antivist". Along with a great setlist, the band's production brought the experience to the next level with epic visuals on screens built into the stage and background dancers clad in gas masks with C2 guns to really help amp up the crowd. Of course, there was still plenty of mosh pits and crowd surfing. I highly recommend seeing Bring Me The Horizon on any remaining dates of The Second Base tour if you can. You will not be disappointed!
